So I’ve been out of work for a little while. With being 19 and being in education for pretty much all my life, it’s fair to say that finding a job is difficult. I’ve been looking for jobs I actually would enjoy and find rewarding, but also would be suitable hours for a starting job (not full time). It’s been a struggle to say the least.
I had one job interview but didn’t get it as someone else had more experience *rolls eyes*. Like I’m 19, I need experience to get a job but I need to get a job to get experience- literally impossible π . But thankfully I managed to get an interview!!!
This is amazing news but also for someone with anxiety, crazy scary. I’m worried about if I don’t get the job, I’m worried about if I do get the job. I guess it’s fair to say… I’m worried. I mean it’s hardly surprising with how anxious I get over the smallest things. I have my fingers crossed for the interview but am also staying a bit apprehensive- I don’t think I’m the company’s top choice so I’m going to have to work hard to impress them. If I get the job this could be a whole new chapter for my life.
Being an adult is hard and I definitely sometimes doubt my choices about not going to uni. I have to reassure myself that I’m doing the right thing, which is not always easy, but I know ,deep down, that the degree just wasn’t for me at the time. And hey, you never know, soon I may have a job and be getting some money in- time to get some clothes and lots of food π
Thanks for reading guys!! I will try and update the blog with news on jobs when I know it βΊοΈ
